Why do you love to bow hunt?
Sometimes I sit back and ask myself how can this sport TOTALLY take over my mind every fall.
For me it is the love of the outdoors coupled with the thrill of the hunt.
There are few things that compare to the sights and smells of a cold fall morning just before the sun rises with deer all around you.
What makes it so good for you?

I enjoy being in the woods and observing nature. Everything from hearing the crows on a cold morning and chipmunks running across the ground, to watching a doe and its little ones feed on acorns. I enjoy being apart of nature for that short little while as much as I do when I take a deer. Also, who can deny the excitment of having a deer just a few yards or feet from you and it doesn't even know your there. <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

I think the reason I love to bowhunt is the task of getting close to whitetails, and watching nature. And I feel confident with the bow I know that if hes in within 25 yds hes down. I like bowhunting because it opens early and closes late and you get to hunt the full rut. it also gives the animal a fighting chance and makes it more competetive..................
