Well i went shed hunting the other day and was walking the fence line. Well on the neighbors property there laid a very nice shed. I wanted to jump the fence and get it but i just couldn't do it. I asked the land owner if i could shed hunt his property and he said no. I guess theres another one for the squirrels to comp on. Would it be legal for me to try to throw a string over it and pull it to me, it is only 8 feet from the fence and i am not going to step foot on there property, they are really mean people.

Well bud, doing the right thing isn't usually the easiest! Good for you. That would take a lot of discipline. Its too bad the guy didnt let you shed hunt his place, especially after asking. Most would have definately just grabbed that shed without considering it was on private property.
I understand both sides. I am shed hunter and landowner. I always get permission first before going on someones land. If someone tells me no, I stay off of it.

I agree with shed on this one.
If the land owner said no then you have to respect his wishes.
Alot of guys would have jumped the fence, roped it or whatever but you done the right thing----good for you
Maybe someday you will find the landowner isnt so bad at all,he probably had bad experiences in the past with other hunters and just got tired of it.
He might let you on his property someday when he realises what a good guy you are.Good ethics is what hunting is all about.
Remember this-----"Good things will be rewarded to the ones who wait"

First, good for you for doing the right thing....
and now, if you could hook it without entering his property well then that's another story...like mentioned above, he doesn't own the shed....if you can lasso it, drag it to you....kudos...
