18, all I can say is I don't know a lot of adults that would have made the choices you made, including myself if placed in your situation. Good for you! Your choice has now opened up a new door for you and who knows what kind of a trust you can build with this guy. Again I tip my hat to you for the responsibility you've showed. Nice bone by the way! I am looking forward to seeing what else you find on this ground now that you have permission to shed hunt it!

I have a few different spots to shed hunt, but i am going to hold off. I checked my game cam today and all of the bucks still had both sides.

Nice job DH honesty pays off. I would have voted for getting permission. 8 feet or 8 miles it's still someone elses land. Something is either yours or someone elses. If it's someone elses (or on someone elses property) there are 2 ways for it to be yours. They either give it to you or you buy it. There really is no inbetween. Again... nicely done.

already went over that one, and that would be stealing and i would not feel right. i decided to try to reason with the land owner and he understood, he told me i could shed hunt his land and that he would think about letting me bowhunt.

Yeah I would try to hook it with something and pull it over. It's just a shed your not like yourshooting a deer off the guys land or anything. If you have a tree trimmer for trimming branches just take that along with you and extend it out and hook it with the blade and pull it over to the fence. Once you get it take a picture and post it so we all can see it too. Now hurry up and go get it before the critters get it.
