Just another bit of advice, make sure you cover this post up somehow, maybe get a moderator to delete this message.

Your boyfriend may find the message when he gets back home and logs back onto HNI.

I justwouldn't want to spoil the surprise for him!!

And by the way, you are a great girl if you are lining this hunt up for him. I am sure he will love it!!

I have heard of a place in Tn. You hunt with dogs, bait, stalk, choice of firearm, bow or even a large spear. You stay in a nice cabin and don't pay unless you kill a hog. If you kill a hog I think it is $350.00. I will talk to my buddy who has been there and let you know the info of the place.

my Wife and i went to this place about 100 miles south west of St louis last year on a wild hog hunt. This place is top notch and close to you. While the wild boars hunt is around $1000 i think you can hunt Razorback or russian hogs from $350 to $600 dollars.Give then a call and ask for Mike he can hook you up. 1-800-866-3140.

they have very nice private cabins for like $40 a night where you have to do your own cooking and stuff or other cabins food included
they are worth checking into at least

Some friends of mine have gone to Caryonah Lodge in TN. They spoke very highly of it after their first visit and have gone back several times since.

I have been to black mountain hunts that you mentioned. I have actually been there 4 times and have had a great time while there. The people are great and the hunting is non-stop action for sure. I've taken a nice boar each time there and have seen some real monsters in there.

There are supposedly some good ranches not far from you also. I think on of them is High Adventure Ranch located not far from St.L and Stoney Creek Ranch just south towards Rolla. The Stoney Creek Ranch looks to have a topnotch lodge w/ meals and everything included. I think these are the websites:
