ALMOST GOT MY FIRST DEER WITH A BOW
Well, I got out of school and went directly to the store to get scent soap cause I am gonna hunt in the morning. Well, on the way back I had mom stop at my buddy Garys house and he said "Im goin in about an hour so stay here and I will get my stuff and we can grab your stuff on the way over."
We get my stuff and head out and put steps and his stand in and move one of mine and decided to rattle a bit just to see what would happen. We rattled for 15min. and saw nothing so we stood up to pack and we looked tward a stand of Garys and there are 2 does, about 200yds., so we stalk down to the corner where they seemed to be headed and waited. We didnt see them so he went around to the back of them to put on a little push to run em past me. I am sitting there for a while and its gettin darker and I hear something comeing so I stand up and look back and I see a big doe running at me so I start to draw my bow and she runs into an opening and I "blat....blaaaaat" at her and she just kept on runnin<img src=icon_smile_shock.gif border=0 align=middle> NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. She ran about 125-150yds. and cun on into the corn.
There I am, lettin down my draw and here comes Gary with the "what the hell happened" look and his arms out in a Y and I come out of the corner and said "She wouldnt stop." He just laughed and told me that deer dont read the magazines so they dont know that their suposed to stop when I do that.
OOOOOOOHHHHHH WWWWWWWEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLL, guess I will try it again tomorrow morning

Great Story Guy's....Well you learned one thing from this....when you "PUSH" them bow hunting they won't slow down to give you a shot...Good Luck Tommorow!!!!!!!!!!
