yeah season opened on the 15 and i've hunted for three days but haven't seen anything, even with my cardeer necklace!!! It doesn't bother me tho because i'm out in the woods and enjoying watching the squirrels and chipmunks and anything else that happens to run by. But, yesterday afternoon I did see my first deer of the season and that just made my day. Me and my buddy were walking out to our stands and just as we get onto this utility path we see 2 doe about 80yards form us. So we quickly drop our climbers and nock an arrow, run around them on another utility path. I leave my buddy on that path because i knew we were gonna spook them over there. I get to within 40 yards of them and just before i could get a shot off they spook to my buddy. They ened up being 2 really small 4 points, but the short stalk was worth it. Later while in my stand i saw a buck cross the railroad tracks that are behind me but he was going the other way. The only thing i could tell of his rack was that it looked to be a large 6 or nice 8. It was a cool day hunting even tho i couldn't get a shot on anything. Maybe my luck will change on saturday when I go to my hunny hole. Good luck to all of you and

Good luck gurubbi, let us know how it goes. I am seeing a lot of them this year, even could have taken a fawn at 10 yards and claim my first bow kill, but I couldn't bring myself to draw on it, little lone hit the release. Maybe this afternoon.
