Ive been looking for new broadheads and ive been reading up on slick tricks. I was wondering if they actually do fly just like field points and if anyone has had success with them.

I dont shoot these heads because I just found out about them.That is probably on of the higher use heads on here.

I just recently bought 6 of them in 100 grain. I would shoot a
field point and then the Slick Trick, they do fly like a field point.
I have used Thunderhead 100's since I started bowhunting and
I can honestly say that the Slick Tricks do fly better. I just can't
wait to get a shot at a deer with them.

Yes, they do fly exactly like field points. Easiest tuning broadhead I have ever shot.... well actually they don't really need any tuning but it is still a good idea to shoot hem just to be 100% sure.

They make huge holes going in and out of the deer and do massive ammounts of damage inside the animal as well.

Best broadhead out there IMHO.

I shot these heads this year, and took 4 deer with them. They flew very well out of a nearly perfectly tuned bow, I will vouch for that. As much as I liked these heads, I can't say entirely that it was the BH. Any BH will fly well if your bow is tuned. Good luck.

I switched this year and just LOVE the ST's! Go for it you won't be disappointed!

I was a little hesitant at first because they do not appear to be as sharp as say, a Thunderhead, but they do open up big holes and fly great. Shot 3 deer with the same head with no damge to the head. They are definately well made and they will be in my quiver again this fall.

haven't shot them but am going to this coming year. I've heard fantastic things about them.

I seem to be in the minority here. I like how the heads fly, but performance on game is insufficient. Lost an Elk this last year using them, and am going to throw them away. Made a perfect textbook shot (on video), virtually no blood at all, arrow passed through, and was found. Looked for 4 days, still no elk. Very disappointed with this broadhead. In my opinion, not very sharp out of the package. Needs some improvement. Might be fine on deer sized game, but in my experience is lacking on larger game. Part of the reason I had tried them, was that everyone was bragging about these huge wound channels and blood trails. Definitely not the case this time. And for those of you who are saying that this is hunter error, out of 20 years of bowhunting, and 17 elk later......this is the first one that I have ever lost.

I took 3 deer with them this year and the blood trail depended on the angle of the shot. The first was awesome, the next non existant but didn't matter because the deer fell within sight, the third was spotty at best.

All 3 were passthoughs and recovered.
