Absolutely the best head I've ever used ,will be using them from here on in .and they fly just like your field point's as the other's say.

I think what a lot of folks might be missing is that flight alone is not the best judge of a broadhead. Sharpness should also be a key consideration. On top of maybe not being real sharp, these things cut a small hole, 1 inch is advertised but it appears smaller than that. I think they weregenerous in their size claims. You're going to get some poor bloodtrails with these things. A tiny broadhead is No substitute for sharpness and a well tuned bow. They may be fine, but they are dull and small. Just realize it going in. It won't take a lot of fat to plug a hole.

I will agree that the Tricks are not as sharp as other heads but the ones I have used were sharp enough to shave the hair on my arm. Having said that, they do not shave like a Thunderhead and I wish theyhad a tad better edge fromthe factory.Not sure about the 1" diameter but I used the 1 1/8" diameter with excellent results. The bloodtrails I have seen with the Slick Trickswere excellent. They are not a miracle broadhead, as the deer I have shot with Thunderheadsalso had excellent bloodtrails. What I like about the heads are the toughness....I like the thick blades, the solid steel ferrule and the locking system used seemsvery secure.

Yup, but who cares as long as they shoot accurately consistantly.

I would add that they are the most accurate head that I have ever shot though.

I would also add that the heads that I received were very sharp out of the pack. Most heads, even Muzzy need some sharpening IMO. I believe that 5-shots heads were also very sharp.

I really like these broadheads. I've only killed one deer with them so far...but it left a heck of a hole. I could actually see the blood gushingout of itsside whenit took off. I proceeded to follow a heavy bloodtrail for about 60 yds. and there layed my buck. Not to be sedistic or anthing, but...I've never seen a deer with so much blood on and around it. I'll definately be using them agian this fall.

Took a black bear & deer this year with the ST. I love them. I also wounded a deer this year w/ them...not the bh fault. A deflection caused my arrow to hit exremely far back. The bh actually did a done of damage to the areas impacted, but we lost the deer in a lake. Never found her.
