Absolutely have to name them or we'd never get our stories straight.

We got some like......

"the Oaks"

"the Saucer"

"the Opening"

"the Tractor Opening"

"the Edge"

"the Fiberglass Ladder"

"the Creek"

"the Crossing"

"the Corner"

"the Barn"

"the Spider Hole"

"the Dump"

"the Pond"

I know I forgot some.

We have Hemp Hill stand. When my buddy bought the land, we found a certain little odd plant growing wild out there.

Other than that....we aren't very original.
[blockquote]The Ridge Stand (Its on a ridge)
The Bottom Stand (Bottom of a draw)
The South Stand (furthest to the south)
The Above the Lake Stand (Its above the...well..you get the point)
[/blockquote]

I've got a few...

The Ash Tree
The Foundation
Corner Driveway or the Buck Stand
The Shelf
8 Acres
Alfalfa Ridge
Indian Mint

Not all of these are mine, just some examples of what we use at our farm.

i don't really have a name for the actual stands...it's more of the location: ie: freak zone stand, marsh stand, etc.

yep got names for all of them and other spots on the ground, even have stands labeled - they are semi-portable, wooded ladder stands.
stands:
"creek"
"line"
"fence"
"woods"
"dump"
"condo"
"state"
"#8"

blinds: (home made):
"condo blind"
"tree blind"
"state blind"
"creek blind"
and more to come

other locations:
"the T"
"turkey hotspot"
"penninsula"
"clear cut"
"the gate"
"trail x-ing"
