Congratulations! Connecticut is still open?Ny has been closed for almost 4 weeks.I may have to plan on a road trip next winter!
Only zones 11 & 12, the ones along the shoreline. Its open till the end of the month. You need this years tags tho. I guess the best way to word it is theres a season from sept 15 to dec 31'st & another from Jan 1'st to the 31'st.

Thanks for the kind words fellas.

Leverdude, I really enjoyed reading about your late season success and your photos are nice too. Congrats on your deer! He's one to be proud of!
Talk about ending the season with a bang (or a "thwack")!

Great Job, Leverdude

I noticed the backpart of the arrow(vanes) laying down by the log, in the first pic of deer.

That reminds me of a couple years ago. I drew back on a buck and caught him in the spine. He dropped right in his tracks, but not to his side. So I nocked another arrow and hit right next to my first arrow. Then he rolls over snapping both carbon arrows. Anyway it sure was nice not having to track him.

I use the 85's, thunderheads. Looks as if the 100 dida goodjob.

Again Congratulations!!!
