Oh, and we also bought this little place for me to be able topractice from the deck and simulate shooting from a treestand:

Here's the patch of woods which separates us from one of the top-ranked golf courses in the state... and, yes, I've already found deer tracks in my yard!

Beautifulhome Greg congrats!!!...You going to be able to hunt them woods?

John,

Thanks a ton! Nope, what you see is what you get... there ain't much too them, and believe it or not, I"m in the city limits -- though on the extreme edge. And -- honestly -- I don't think I'd shoot anything that came by. I'm just hoping to be standing on the deck one morning or evening with a cup of coffee in my hand and watch some walk by; that would almost be a dream come true for me. :)

I have always hunted fixed stands but will probably try a climber this yeardue to the fact I have scored some new spots. Most likely a Lone Wolf. Just bought a pair of 2000 gram Frankenstein type boots, I don't know how I'm gonna walk in these things, but at least my toesies will be warm! And maybe a killer pair of binocs.

I just bought 8 acres in Lincoln County Missouri. I'm going to build a house on it.

I already told my wife that I'm putting in a food plot. I have had my game camera out there, and I'm filling up a roll a day on average.

I hope to have the house built in 6 months. WELLLLL before next season. Plus - the I got permission to hunt the old land owners farm.

I would LIKE a new bow - but the land will do fine.....for now.

Thanks, buckeye! I really mean that...

God has blessed us incredibly, that's for sure. After five-and-a-half years of infertility challenges, we were blessed with that awesome little boy you saw on the other thread named Matthew... I was named to BowTech's National Hunting Pro Staff... We bought this little "shack" as you put it ;)... and we just found out we're pregnant again!!!!! :D

The timing of the house thing couldn't have been better with the discovery of our next one on the way; we've been in our little "starter" house since shortly after getting married (two-bedroom, one-bath). Now, we're going from 800 square feet to 3,000!
