Here is a link to my photos. Click on my 2002 Deer/Hunting Unlimited http://community.webshots.com/user/ladyforge I was hunting in Brown County Illinois at Hunting Unlimited Inc on a ladies only Bowhunt. I was the only lady to attend but the ladies from Doc. Russels place came over sat night for a hunt and wine tasting of Illinois wines and dinner. I got the button buck friday evening at about a 20 yards with a passthrough shot and watched him go down the ridge and drop. I was in my stand at 3:00 and harvested him at about 3:30.I got to my stand sunday at 5:45am and at 8:00am I saw antlers coming with the sun shining on them through the golden rod and it looked like he was coming in the direction that would put him right in front of my stand. Well he did step out into the clearing at 31 yards( I shot it for 30 yards) and I let the arrow fly. My arrows found thier marks. I will tell no more of the story because I feel it is one that the antis would love to twist and use to benifit their cause. I will tell you that I put this animal down as quickly as I could and I did not allow it to die a slow prolonged and painful death. So I had a great weekend and there is still 3 months left of bow seasonHey I know I look like crud in some of those photos but I guess I was waxing my bow string when it was makeup time

I almost forgot the buck weighed in field dressed at 160# the guides said that would put his gross weight at about 180 to 185, I know he is no monster by his rack, but the weight was great for what they estimate being a 1 1/2 year old buck. And what a case of ground shrinkage I encountered when I walked up to him

Nice deer, congrats! Wine tasting? Must be nice, the most I can get is a buddy or two that might give me an old can of Pabst Blue Ribbon.
