Default drop away rest question

I just bought a trophy ridge drop zone rest. The question I have is has anyone heard of any problems with them, at all. If I get any responses I will tell you why I am asking....Thanks, John

My brother-in-law has one on his Mathews LX and he seems to really like it. I just got a new Trykon and was considering one, so what is the reason you are questioning it? I would really like to know any problems with this rest.

I wanted to see if anyone ever heard of, or had any problems with the rest. I had an arrow come apart and go into my hand upon release and we were trying to figure out if it was the arrow or the rest. I shoot beeman ics 340 arrows. If I can figure out how to attach pics I will....John

i dont use that specific rest, but if the arrows on the rest correctly i dont see how that could possibly be the rests fault.

also, i know arrows oscillate alot when they first get shot. maybe if it the arrow had a crack in it it wouldve shattered. at carbon express' website it has videos in slow motion where you can see the oscillating. if the arrow was cracked im guessing that would do it.

I think it was the arrow, or improper set up of the rest. But an arrow does not come apart just because of the rest, thats why they say check your arrows after each shot!
