I am interested in learning how to Bowhunt. I have never been hunting but I am an avid backpacker. I am at home in the woods and enjoy tracking deer. I live in Cincinnati and I was hoping there might be some group or organization in the area I could hook up with. Any information would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forums!! This is one of the BEST places to learn from! Good luck with your endeavors. I, not being from your area, am not aware of any organizations, although I am sure there are some.

A few hints. Buy the best equipment you canafford, and be diligent. Don't give up. Archery is tough business, but is it ever rewarding!! Practice. Practice. Practice some more. When you're done, practice some more. Be the consimate student. Read everything you can get your hands on, and most of all.....................have fun!!
