Default cold feet

ok so ive been having this trend lately where i stay warm except my feet freeze. i wear wool socks, thensome other synthetic blend sock then my boots, either some supposed -40 farenheit pac boots, or some 1600 gram thinsulate rubber boots. either way my toes are ice cubes after a few hours in the stand. any suggestions? fleece socks maybe? i wear at least on layer of fleece everywhere else and i stay warm. if i stick a footwarmer deal in there it solves the problem for say six hours but during an all day hunt whats a guy to do?

Are your boots nice and loose so your circulation is good? If so you might try some of those big insulated material boots, I don't know what they are called. You slip your regular boots off and put them on when you get in your stand.

I have Rocky 1200 thinsulate boots and after about 4 hrs, if its around zero degrees my feet start to get cold, a guy at my work told me to try the mickey mouse boots, there army surplus insulatedrubber boots good for -20,i got themand iwear one pair of wool socks, and these boots are awesome,my Rocky's dont even compare, even with two pair of socks,My only reget is i would have been told about them sooner.. there a little heavy, but it worth it.there on ebay or at a military surpus store, that were i got mine cause i never tryed them before, mine was $59.00 new old stock.and i would buy another pair if need be.the ones with the air valve are the newer model,it dont do nothin, keep it closed, its if you go airborne,,they stoped using these boots in 1985 due to cost, best boot for cold weatherfeet hasent got cold yet, hunted the other day -3 with windchillfor about seven hrs,and didnt notice my feet, because they were still warm, just a little info, hope it helps...

LaCrosse makes some very warm pac boots that you might want to look into. The IceMans are advertised with a cold temp rating from-45 to -80. They also have the IceKings which are suppose to be rated for -80 to -150 degrees. I've had a pair of the IceKings for ten years now and my feet have never got cold with them. Already this year I've hunted in single digit temps with twenty mph winds and my feet stayed nice and warm.

Try a pair of sock liners before you put your wool socks on. They work very well. I just picked up three pair today because it was cold tonight.

Try battery heated socks. I've never used them but I hear they work pretty well.

Well, whats really happening is,your feet are sweating on your walk in
and when you stop on stand they get cold. Try spraying an antipersperant
on your feet non sented of course. Helps me hope the same 4 you.
