Default Good news, bad news

Well, I took my first bow buck yesterday. It was a small 8. I've passed on bigger but decided to break the ice. The bad news is I left my bow in the back of my truck in a soft case and on the way back this evening it must have blown out. Needless to say, I'm pretty bummed. To top things off, I told one of my buddies whose been thinking about getting into bowhunting he could have my old one and already gave it to him. And on top of that, I took my '62 Colt .308 out to this guy's lease and am hoping I left it in the cabin because I sure don't have it in my truck. I'll try to post pics and story on the deer later when I feel a little better.

Man, now thats a string of bad luck. Did a black cat walk in front of you? or did you break a mirror?? Or maybe you walked under a ladder lol.

No, SB. I left the gun in the cabin. I had the back seat folded down with my bow in a soft case, my empty hardcase and some clothes and backpacks. I moved it all to the back to let my son ride there so another hunter could ride in the front while we drove out to look for a big buck another guy gun shot but couldn't find. We looked for about 4 hours and then drove back to the cabin. I told everyone bye and hopped back into my truck without thinking and drove home about 40 miles. Last I remember seeing it was in the field and another truck was behind me the whole time so he would have seen if it fell out in the field. Pretty sure its gone.
