I think my neighbor across the street is crazy. He says he passes up tons of nice bucks each year. Everyday he has a story about how he passed up a 8pt or a 9pt. He said one time he stopped counting a bucks points at 38 but said it had no mass at all so he didn't shoot it!!!!! Do you think he is crazy or is it just me.

I've had streaks of passing up eight points on a daily basis that will run more than week in a row. But 38 points? Number one, you wouldnt' be able to count them. Number two, nobody in their right mind would pass that up.

I've been doing just the opposite. I have passed up one forkhorn about 6 times. My season will end on Jan. 1st. If I don't see a shooter buck soon I may take him. Probably not but I think about it more and more as the end gets near.

How do you get 38 + points with no mass???

He's lying.........no 38 pointer would ever stand still long enough for someone to count their rack.........even if that were possible.

I know a guy who likes to say "he let em pass" all the time , funny thing is , he says it even when he never really had a shot opportunity to begin with.

As for the turdy pointer? Sounds like ya better roll up your pant legs when talkin to this fella.
