I was looking at the Ohio Department Of Natural Resources web site today checking some pictures out of this year's deer. This is the first time I have seen this picture. It was killed on Oct.28 , so it is a bow kill. 1st link is main page with small picture and name of hunter and green score. The 2nd link is blown up picture of the same. This is one huge buck !!!! I'll do a little more research and see exactly where he killed it. It was killed in the county where I live and hunt. My guess would be souther part of county, ruralfarmland butlikeI said, This is the 1st I have heard about it.

I made a quick phone call to a friend who works for the county. He said this buck was taken just outside of London, Ohio. He also told me most of the land isn't hunted or very little hunting pressure. Also a lot of land on government set aside programs and OSU farms all tie into property where this buck was killed. Land owners out there will not let people hunt and do not hunt themselves so you know there are huge deer there to begin with. He knows a guy who lives less than a mile from where buck was killed said that there are at least 2 more comparable or bigger than this buck that have been seen chasing doe during the rut. So that is the story I get.[/align]

ohio has some huge bucks, this guy killed a 219 class buck right next to my uncles land, there was a 170 typical 10 point killed on the other side of his land, we are allowed to hunt both sides of the land

I still think the next world record will come from Ohio. Been saying that a long time now.
