YUP, big deer around there. My nephew has two nice farms there he has hunting rights on. I went out a couple years ago to hunt with him for a few days. I passed up 4 bucks the last night of my hunt hoping to have another encounter with a MACHO buck I saw preveously in the hunt. Biggest deer I ever saw. He only hunts them occasionally as he lives in Indiana.

Thats a huge buck. That one and the buck killed by Mike Rex are huge bucks. Like iowabob said, I also think the next record will come from Ohio. I dont think another state will take the record for a long time. Also a lot of people forget there are only two deer in the wild bigger than beatty's buck. One which was found in Ohio near railroad track and the other in Illinois. Two of the three largest deer come from ohio and I think it will be some time before another is harvested or found dead.

Nice deer. Like the extra beam. Too bad the lighting is poor. Need to have him face into the sun or at least quarter into it rather than side light (or even worse backlight). So much of the details are in shadows.

Another great buck out of my home state,Ohio. This year in Ohio, there has been several big bucks this hunting season.
