wow,
Atlas, I don't know where to begin, try rereading the entire post again and see where you first denied feeding the deer (they were simply eatting the corn, apples, & birdseed you left for the squirels & birds); then you finally admit to feeding them because of the damage they cause to your precious yard.
If you had been here longer then a few weeks you would know that I have been very open about this topic and showed pictures like this for years. I was playing on your lack of knowledge of the situation and premature assumptions..........basically I was having a little fun with you.....something that was obviously a lost cause.

If everyone stops feeding them, they will leave.
Wrong.......there is no where to "leave" to. Once again you would know this had you been around longer.

There are a ton of people (members & guests) who don't know your "Unigue" situation
Actually you are the only one that has ever mentioned it.

I guess all these "new" people (who have as much right to this site as you) are required by Atlas LAW to read EVERY archived post on the site
If you are gonna come in and start throwing around insults and accusations about someone's ethics then yes you should do that.........and it has nothing to do with me. It's just common curtesy. Walk into a local hunting club that you have never been in and jump into a conversation midstream and start insulting people and questioning their ethics and see how well that goes for ya.

I simply feel that your proud display of illegal activity is a slap in the face to everyone here who at least "tries" to obey the laws. If you change the law, I will fully support your right to feed them, until then there is no rational way you can defend your position - its still deliberate and illegal. If you take offense to my posts, I'm sorry, but law is there for a reason I'm sure. I wish you no harm or arrest record, but I think you made a really poor choice promoting your activity and disregard for the DEC & NYS ban on feeding deer. I don't agree with a lot of laws & reg's; but I do my best to try & follow them; and when I screw up, first I don't lie about it, second I sure won't be posting / bragging about it on the net for everyone to see and comment on. But hey, I must be wrong - your neighbor does it too, so it must be ok.
Think what you want..........I am not proudly displaying any law breaking or promoting anything. I am showing some pics of a nice buck in my yard. If you don't wish to view the thread you can always just not click on it.

But even you have to admit that comment about owning a computer was a little spitefull on your part - I too own a nice shiney computer with a cable modem, I just can't spend as much time surfing this site as you do, nor do I care to - but thats OK.
Wasn't spiteful at all. Just an answer. Again you assume that I surf this site all day..........and again you are wrong.

I just want to add that I think it's cool that Atlasman took the time to take and download these pics for our viewing pleasure. Nice buck, and nice pics.

No.......not really. Like I said earlier I have been contemplating building a shed catcher in hopes of them knocking off an antler in my yard but so many of those things look like I might come home and find a buck all tangled in the thing. Maybe just a couple simple cross boards that they might bang their head on when looking up.

I think I will look into it this year.
