I shot three squirrels the other day with my croosbow. I was practicing for deer season. My favorites points to use are judo points. They stop the arrow before they penetrate through your game. For coyote hunting I would suggest calling with rabbit distress calls in the evening hours. Good luck!

Best places for rabbits are isolated patches of brush or briars, brushpiles, around old, abandoned farm buildings and along edgesof woodsand along fence rows. Early and late in the day. There's usually not much action from around 10 AM through 3 PM. The only way to get themin midday hoursis to walk up on 'em while they're bedded down.
Calling is about it for coyotes. Try to set up where they can't circle downwind of you. They're notorious for getting downwind before coming to a call. I guess they're trying to find out who they're gonna have to steal that sqawking rabbit from.
