Every time a rule is made, we lose a little bit of our freedom
I could not have said it better. At the current rate we will have no freedom left at all very soon. I do not need the government to tell me how to live my life. I am intelligent enough to do that on my own.

If it only applies to public land OK, but I don't need any more laws telling me what I can and can't do on my own land!!

We already have something in place to handle this situation (i.e. safety harness use/non-use).

Its called "Natural Selection".

Let God sort 'em out.

Ultimately, every law is enforced at the point of a gun. The last thing we need is another law which will only be ignored by those who already choose to not use a harness. My game warden is a good guy, but I don't want him out in the woods with me to make sure that I'm properly strapped in.

I'm definitely against more government intrusion into every aspect of our lives. We don't need a nanny state. I think if someone wants to be foolish then they should beFREE to be foolish.

I was going to say no we don't need a law but everyone else beat me to it. I think that pretty much settles this one!

That is a very democratic-eque way of thinking. Don't try to save people from themselves, it's called life!
