WHATS GOIN ON HERE !!!!!!!!!!!!
HERE WE ARE 10 DAYS INTO THE SEASON AND ALL I HAVE SEEN IS BALDYS. MAN! EVERY DAY 6 TO 12 DOES ALL AROUND ME. ITS GREAT!! LAST NIGHT THEY WERE REARING UP, PUSHING AND REALLY PLAYING. WHAT A GREAT TIME.
IN THIS PARTICULAR LOCATION I HAVE SWITCHED FROM A TREE BLIND TO A GROUND BLIND THAT I CUT INTO A GREAT BIG PINE TREE. YESTERDAY THE DOES WERE 4 FEET FROM ME. WHAT FUN! IF I WAS SMART I WOULD TAKE THE VIDEO CAMERA.
THEY KEPT ME IN THE BLIND UNTIL 9:30 P.M. DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE CAUSE DID NOT WANT TO GIVE AWAY BLIND.
ITS TO EARLY FOR ME TO HARVEST A DOE. I SURE WOULD LIKE TO SEE A BUCK. I HAVE NOT SEEN ONE YET. I CERTANLY HOPE THAT THE "PATIENTS" THING IS CORRECT.
WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS?

By all means, take the video camera with you, if nothing else, just to pass the time till your buck shows up. Don't feel bad, my first day out, all I saw was 6 does and 2 fawns, but then it is doe season here, so I took one home with me...

I'd take a doe now before the rut kicks in. During the rut your not gonna want to shoot one , you never know whats following her.

Gotta agree with BOWFANATIC..If you have that many does in your area, pick one without yearling and get the rust off of your knife now. You won't want to stink up your hunting area when the rut kicks in..

Think about those great backstaps, I smell em in the skillet already, I shot my first one the other night, she was on the grill tonight, my girls love deer meat. Take it if you got it prior to the rut! Good eating!!!!!!

I agree - take a doe now - if you have tags enough.
If you decide not to - back off the blind, and relocate. A doe group will not likely have a decent buck with it this time of year, in a couple weeks its a different story. Don't burn out your blind.
Look for the thickest cover, down wind of the "doe location" - some bucks should start cruising this area, to scent check, even now.
Good luck
