Has anyone ever used the ameistep non-typical climber tree stand pictured below? What did you like or dislike about it? do the pivoiting grip arms hold a tree very well? And do you think they stack up to summit stands

I have the non-typical lite. It is VERY comfortable, it is no problem to sit it in all day. I am 6' and 220, and there is just enough room for me. It packs well, is fairly lite for climber standards, and is easy to attach things to when trying to find room for equipment to strap onto it when you have to pack it in a ways.
It does climb weird though. I have a Warren & Sweat climber that was made in 99' and it weighs about 13lbs, and it is much sturdier when climbing than the Non Typical. Once in your spot after climbing it locks secure if you pull the straps tight to the platform, but the climbing is a little sketchy at times, and my other climber is much easier to climb safely and pack. Nothing I have sat in was more comfortable then this Ameristep though.............
