Went to Wal-mart the other night to get some groceries. Stopped in the hunting department. Noticed some ladder stands and it said clearance $30.00, they were 12' 2 man ameristep stands, they also had 15' one man Ameristep ladder stands for $25.00. Anybody used these ameristep stands before from wal-mart? are they any different than ones you would buy at Cabelas or Bass Pro. They come with shooting rails, side rails,coushins,safety harnesses. Looks like a deal I can't pass up. Any info would help.

Not sure.... but i would not pass that up, i might have to check and see if they have any here!

I bought 3 of the 15' stands. Might go back this weekend if they still have them and get a couple 12' 2 seaters. Maybe with the 2 seater I can talk my wife into going along.

Ameristep makes some excellent stand and blinds you cant go wrong with that price, youd be a fool not to get one or two.

I have the 2 man stand and it works great. Easy to set up, plenty of room to shoot and very sturdy.
