Default The "incessant caller man" verse "man that no use wind correctly"

Well, I spotted a huge buck about 2 weeks ago in a funnel during bowseason. I couldn't hunt last week because I was out of town, I got back in the stand today around 12. Within minutes I heard what I thought was a buck grunt, then it repeated 5 times. Within the next 2 hours, the "grunting buck" continued every 3-4 minutes, I counted that there were 30-40 series of grunts. After the first few sequences I knew it was a hunter about 50 yards off or so. After an hour of it I began to get mad, within 2 hours I was laughing hysterically. Luckily the guy was down wind of me so I stayed put. Anyways, I get 2 does within 5 yards of my stand, they stay put and eat for 20 minutes, the grunting continues but they pay no mind, I am waiting on a buck. All of the sudden, "man that no use wind correctly" comes upwind trailing the does, they scatter from his smell and his loud crunching. I wave to the guy and he turns a 90 degree angle. Within 30 seconds I hear "the incessant grunting man" start calling. "man that no use wind correctly" started walking to the grunting, he readied his shotgun and was stalking, I was laughing hysterically. The grunts started to pick up and then...............they both caught each others eyes and were pissed! He called the guy in with the worst grunt calls known to man! HAHAHAHA! I got the heck out of there, my spot is ruined. Dang gun season combined with the rut, some of the stupidest things are done at that time of the year!

Well, it sounds like neither one of them have any experience. I wouldn't rule the spot out. You might go back there five times and never see them again. Good luck.

I can't tell whether to laugh my butt off or cringe at the thought of them 2 shooting each other. I sure hope they were wearing their orange.
That is Hilariously Sad!

The place I hunt is getting alot of pressure. Gonna bring out the canoe this Saturday to move in on some remote places to get away from these types of individuals.
