I believe it is too early to try ratteling and grunting since the bucks were together. Once they start sparring and seperating you should be good to try that. Scout the field from a different position and DON'T MOVE. Try to locate the trail the bucks are coming in on and plan to set up on the trail when the WIND is correct. Also set up with the sun behind you if you can to provide an additional source of camo. Don't go to this area until you are ready to hunt it and don't spend too much time walking on the trail so as to not spread any scent on it.
Good Luck

What I would do is watch the wind! wait for the perfect wind and get there early, setup where they came out or in the area of where they were feeding. And wait. If you seen them early and they havent busted ya yet you better make your move before its to late.......Good luck

If you know where they are coming in, wait for the wind to be perfect and set up on the trail into the field. I agree that rattling and grunting only give your position away if used too early, and if they're still in Bachelor groups it's too early. Smoky's right though...do it soon. Once they seperate all bets are off and they'll scatter. You'll have to start from scratch. Good luck
