Slick Trick stories anyone....
#1
I know a lot of people have tipped their arrows with Slick Tricks this season and I was gonna see if we could compile some of the results.
I'll start with mine. The first deer I shot with these was a good sized doe. The head produced massive amounts of blood and incredible entry and exit wounds. She didn't go far before expiring in a heavy thicket. Upon examination there was a hole about the size of a quarter in both rib cages. This head didn't just cut through, it literally blew a hole. I was very impressed.
The second deer I shot with them was a little 6pt. last week. Exact same results. A 60 yard trail that looked like someone turned on the hose of red. He also had actual holes in the ribs. I have been very impressed with the performance of these heads. Also, on both heads, there was absolutely no damage the either the ferrule or the blads. I'm hooked.

I harvested 2 adult large deer, one buck, one doe. Both died within 50 yrds of my stand. They are awesome heads! I used to shoot the muzzy 4 blade, not any more though . Im sold on the slick tricks. Heres the buck my first with a bow. Not the best but Im proud of him. He broke off a couple of tines. He must of been a scrapper

dwd2001,
Same results as you,two deer and both went less then 40 yards. A blind man could follow the blood trail. I will alsostate that I had good shot placement on both deer, so that's always the best way to get good results from any broadhead. But I will also tell you I no longer have any of my other broadheads. I gave them all away. In 35 years of bow hunting these are the BESTbroadheads I have shot, period!
