the rut is on in my area of wisconsin, so i'm going to be "sick" from school tomorrow to try and bag a buck before the shotguns start blastin this weekend.

Where I hunt in Wisconsin (Ladysmith area) we're supposed to havea few inches by tomorrow morning. I really wish I could be out with the bow...but when your 2 1/2 hours away at college, there's not much you can do. I'll settle for the rifle opener, I guess.

Too many times in this world people are worried about this stuff. If you are a good student and don't miss much school, experience life in the woods and be happy to your fullest. The term "education" can mean many things.

I remember skipping school in 5th grade too I dont think Iever took a day off work, or called in sick to go hunting,
but to each his own. Thats what weekends and vacations are for IMO. Good luck to ya
