I have been so tired of hearing people screw up and try to put
the blame on someone or something else. That is all you hear anymore.
I am very proud of the way you handled the situation!!! Great job and
excellent character. An old quote my grandmother always told me
"PEOPLE CAN'T HEAR WHAT YOU ARE SAYING BECAUSE YOUR ACTIONS
SPEAK LOUDER THAN YOUR WORDS" How truethis statement is.
We need more great examples of responsibility such as you have exhibited.

You did the right thing by telling them about the mistake. I work in the law enforcement field and know from experience that when you're honest with any law enforcement person, they'll usually be a lot easier on you then if you lie. Good job.

As ethical hunters....we look down on people that poach/disobey hunting laws/etc...

You're way above those people.....way above. Hold your head up.
