wow 20 years. thats a long time. im glad you finally shot a buck. do you hunt public land that there is not many bucks around?

Congratulations. Good job sticking it out like that. You wait and see what happens now. You got that first one out of the way and now they will come easier. That's usually how it goes.

Great job and a dandy buck! Congrats to you. I killed my first archery buck on Saturday morning too, and guess what time I killed mine? Yep, 7:30 just like you did! Way to go.

Kyle - I do most of my hunting on a fruit farm/nursery that has a nice chunk of moutain to it. Its not game lands but is hunted fairly heavy. Every year there are several nice deer taken off this property as there is an abundance of food sources and it joins up with some major mountain ground. Its hard finding good hunting ground close to home. Most properties are Privatefor a club, have a group of hunters already(a lot of family tradition), or don't allow you to hunt.
