I took a nice 8-pointer (field dressed at 175lbs) on 29 Oct. On 11/11 and 11/12, my son saw a nice 10 and 12 pointer from the same stand. They were busy chasing does and he never got a good shot. He passed on a real nice 6 pointer. It wasn't what he was looking for. He already took a doe (first bow kill) the first week of the season.

Saturday morning was a fun morning.

saw a nice 8 pt, 2 different 6's, 2 different 4's. I had 3 does around my stand all morning. 2 of them bedded down about 60 yards downwind from me. They were bringing the bucks in. There is a big 9 pt in the area im holding out for tho so didnt get to shoot any of the bucks.

Supposed to be a high of around 50 Wednesday in Southern Illinois, so that's the day I'm targeting right now.

Sunday morning I saw a really nice 8pt chasing a doe thru a cut corn field. Been after him all season and decided to hunt another stand sunday and saw him when I was leaving not far from where I normally hunt.
