Tree Lounge?

they are great, especially if you like to fall asleep in the tree, I've threatened to put a post in my living room and hang one there. they are kind of a pain to pack around though, but you will NOT find a more comfortable stand and I've tried most

I literally love mine, but I use it in an unconventional way. I purposely place my lounge in an area where I know I am going to spend some all day sits or even need to sleep all night in it. I do not use it as a climber. I set up a ladder to it and leave it. I have a few places that my stands never get bothered and this is where I have my lounge. I also have it chained on to the tree. It would take a gorilla to get it loose.
It is by far the safest and most confortable stand I have ever sat in. Idislike it as a climber though, its cumbersome and aweful noisey. So for me it works great for fixed stand on all day hunts during the rut or staying all night during the early season feeding cycles.

Maybe it's just me but it looks like it would be hard to shoot a bow out of one?
The way it "lounges" you back I think it would make it hard to get stood up for a shot?
Looks like it would be a great napping stand but who wants to sleep? I want to hunt.
Probably work great for gun hunting.

Buell, there is a bow platform for it. I've used a Tree Lounge severl times that was equipped with the bow hunters package and even though it is a very comfortable stand, I really dislike how far away from the tree you are when using the bow platform. When I'm standing and waiting for a deer to come in, I like to hug the tree, not be 3ft. away from the trunk with my body outline showing.

Yup it has a bow platfrom that works well for standing on. As GPS said it really puts you out away from a tree. I hunt out of conifers with branches 10 to 15 feet long at times.. I can hide my lounge quite easily in the big cedars and fir trees out here in this forested country.
