RE: Bambi
I hated that movie but the wife had to get it for the kids. It had no effect on Tyler. My youngest daughter watchesBambi atleast once a week. She is 6 now. I finally quit worring about it when one dayshe hollered for me to come in and see the Prince Of The Forest. I walked in andshe said "Dad if you ever see one this big, you better shoot it.He is a big one." That put a big smile on my face and I had to laugh!!
She says she is going to gohunting with me all the time now. Shesays she isn'tgoing to shot a big one though. She says she wants to shoot a forky. I've asked her why a forky and all thatshe says is because she wants to.
As I was reading this post, it dawned on me... Maybe Bambi wasn't such a badmovie for my kids.A forky'sdaysmight benumbered juston account of that movie in the near future. Life is good!!

ORIGINAL: max the dog
Just do what I did. I taught my son to watch Bambi and say "bang" every time he sees a deer. It drives my wife nuts.

I certainly don't think Bambi effects my kids one single bit! The only thing it does is make them sick when someone actually shoots one (a fawn). Of course, I get as disgusted so I won't hold that against them.
