House of Rep. has approved $150,000 for damage control. I just bought a jackrabbit call last week in hopes of cutting some of them down, no luck yet.

Man, I wish they would do that where I live. When I was in wyoming, they paid a $35 bounty for every yote killed. Our best day was after a 3 day blizzard, it was about -10 and 30 mph winds and tons of snow. The next day I skipped school (I was 14) and went with a high school buddy. We killed 7 dogs between daylight and dark. They were out searching for food. We split the pot and it was glorious until I got home and my dad asked why I wasn't at school. His best friend was my principal and just happened to try to give me some smoked goose jerky at schoolfrom the weekend before. I was busted big time. But he got over it when he found outthat I was hunting and not making trouble.

I was stalk hunting the second week of the season and spooked a coyote out of the bushes only 20 yards away, and this was in Northern Virginia. I have seen 3 coyotes in the past 3 years.

We have a big problem in ohio. Hell they were coming up to our pond in the back yard everyday. I remember during one hunt a few years ago, i heard something crossing the creek, and noticed it was about a 140 class 8 point. He started up the trail and i was sitting on then all of thesudden bolted. At the other end of the trail a coyote came bursting down towards the buck and chased him down the creek. There were some reports that DNR was releasing coyotes in ohio from michigan a few years back but im not sure how accurate those statements were.
