I was having trouble sleeping back in August, so you can imagine what a wreck I am now. This will be my first season bowhunting (only my third season hunting -- I'm 39 -- got a late start). I see deer in my sleep. Fortunately, we're on fall break Monday and Tuesday, so at least I'll get to hunt all day opening day.

You are killing me. I will spend the entire weekend checking and rechecking my gear, shooting a few hundred arrows, final check on my bow and other equipment. THis is torture. I will be hunting tuesday-sunday without stopping. I can't wait.

Hunting is like life. You plan and practice thinking everything is just right and suddenly the wind shifts directions and it's all over.

i hate to rub it in,but i've been bow hunting for 10 days,but will be going down south too. i live about a mile from te boder line.hehe best of both worlds. cold brook ny here
