Default Nocternal Deer

anyone have the problem where the deer just eat at midnight and not at ant legal hunting hours..any suggestions to get them to come out when i hunt??

i had that problem last yr....i ended upstayin in the woods later to find out where there comin from and kept movin my stand closer to them....or if your huntin with a group do alot of drivin...thats all i got for ya, good luck

Same problem here.I've gotten over several dozen pics with my trail camera and the times that they're moving is between 9pm and 3:30am in my area. Just wait until the pre-rut / rut then hold on. That might be your best chance....

i seem to have the same problem all i did was move father into the woods and when is it going to be the pre-rut in iowa?

This is typical for this time of year. I also am getting a ton of activity from my trail cams at night, and all night at that. During the "October lull" I go deep into the woods trying to get big buck that wants to muddle in the canopy for a while before dark. This has worked for me quite well.

Pre-rut....right now. In Iowa, therut almost always starts around the 7th of Nov. and I always use the Nov. 1st as a mark when the bigger bucks start moving more in daylight.
