Default how long before he spoils?

I shot a deer at 8:30 this morning but can't find it. The temp was about 52 all day and is supposed to get in the thirties tonight and be 50 tomorrow. How long will the deer keep in these conditions?

He will be fine in the morning, but after 12 I'd have to question it.My friend shot a buck at 7pm sunday. He gut shot it.I went to help him find it the next day after work.Temps were in the mid 40's.The high was 66.I found the deer in the shade. The first thing I did was look for ants in his mouth...none.Then I checked for flies...none.Then I spread his legs..stiff,but moveable. Then the last thing I did was was open his mouth.same as legs. Finally I pushed on his stomach. The deer was not bloated. So we cleaned him.The meat was a little dry to the hide, but had no bad odor.If you find insects on the deer..No way I'd eat it.I would advise soaking it in ice with a cup of vinegar, and bleeding it off for 3 days.Draining excess water, and adding Ice as necessary.Smell it again, and if it smells like store bought beef its good to go.Hope I helped.
