is the season a bust if you don't kill a buck?

RE: is the season a bust if you don't kill a buck?
Finally got my first bow kill last night - a decent 6 point. Yes it's a young buck that alot of people wouldn't shoot but I've been out 13 times now and seen 4 deer total (2 were fawns!). When that buck stood broadside at 15 yards for me it was a no brainer. I double lunged him and he only went about 75 yards. After 4 years of bowhunting and hardly seeing anything, the satisfaction is indescribable. All the practice in the backyard, all the preparation, the shaky feeling at the moment of truth. Awesome...

I pass up alot of deer, in search of that monster buck. But in no way is the season a bust if I don't shoot one. I may not even shoot a doe for that matter, it's just the enjoyment of being out in the hunting woods. I enjoy taking people and getting them a deer.
