Deer Season Stats
#1
Well i just thought that I would share with you my stats so far this season, i have a document in Excel that i keep spreadsheets of all of my outings. So far since October 1 i have been out 20 times, and have spent 81.5 hours in stand, and have shot 1 doe. Biggest buck i have seen in range was a 120" 7 pointer had him at 20 yards and passed him. biggest buck i have seen but not in range was a 160" 10 that was about 100 yards away coming right at me and then just turned to his left and was gone. I have seen a total of 34 does, 53 fawns, 21 turkeys and abouta million squirrels. So how is every one else doing?

Unbelieavable. I'm totally discouraged. You must have an incredible spot. I've been out 8 times (about 32 hours total) and have seen 1 doe and 2 fawns.... The farm I hunt still has standing corn so I think that's messing me up. Any suggestions? What state are you in?

not sure about hours on stand, or times out (I'm at work and my 'journal' is at home) but I do know that I have seen 68 antlerless and five bucks. only two bucks in range, neither warranted me shooting. spike and a six. I've shot four does and missed two.

I need to start doing that...............Look at all the very valuable info you have to refer to.
Do you keep track of Temp, weather conditions, wind direction ect.......?

In south central Iowa I have been out four times:
Viewed:
16 does
3 bucks
68turkeys
4 rabbits
and too many freaking squirrels to count!
Going out tomorrow morning. Told the boss I was going to be too healthy to be at work tomorrow! When he heard what I wanted to do, gave me the day off!!!!
