if I have access to the info, I keep track of the following
a.m. or p.m. hunt
altimeter
sky condition
forecast wind
actual wind
moon phase
temperature
deer activity
food sources
thoughts on stand
other animals sighted
and of course any other info that I can get. It helps with setting up stands year after year and helps me select a stand if I am debating myself.

I have been out about 15 times for about 65 hours
I have seen 8 or 9 bucks (might have seen the same one twice in one sitting)
Seen approximately 80 doe. (I'm averaging about 6 deer sighted per sitting)
About a dozen grouse
3 Woodcock
1 bear
1 timber wolf
1 fisher
2 gray foxes
3 porcupines
1 mink
Thats about it.

I'm in Michigan. Alot of people around me aren't seeing any deer either. What's the best way to hunt standing corn? I'm thinking of trying a stalk on the next windy day.
