Any of the books by Gary Paulsen are great reads. My favorite are "Hatchet", "Brian's Winter" (its the sequel to hatchet), and "Brian's Return" (the sequel to brians winter). They are books about a boys survival after a plane crash in the middleof Canada.

I take my camoflauge 4 x 6 Bible with me everytime. It makes for perfect reading. Especially Acts 10:12, basically it says Rise, Kill & Eat !!!
