I use the CAN Daug! I have to be honest, tonight was the first time I had a definate response from a buck. He was quartering awayon my left when he walked behind some small trees and brush I gave the CAN two flips. Within a minute or two he reappeared and started coming my way.He was scent checking the air with his nose way up in the air lookingfor a mate. He got to within about 25yrds and I drew when I "thought"the time was right. He picked up some movement and looked my way, turned, hopped onceand walked back the way he came.

I was just about to make a post asking about doe bleats.I'll just add my questions here to keep from having another similar post.
When is a good time to use the bleat?Does it have to be during the rut or is anytime a good time?I was also wondering if the can bleats are better than the traditional calls?Do they draw in the does as well?Thought about using one a couple times but not sure how and when they should be used.
Thanks,
JE

I never had much luck with the can , but I've been using a Lohman bleat call that has been doing ok . I drew in two does a while back , and I plan to try luring a buck with it once the rut begins .

Never had much faith in the deer calls, but this year I decided to try out a TrueTalker. I've used it a couple of times with deer visible....usually they didn't react at all. Last weekend, I bleated to a doe & fawn about a 100 yds. I didn't think there was any reaction, but climbing down at dark, the deer were almost directly under my stand - I spooked them, but I feel confident that they were coming to check out the TrueTalker.

I use the can, and have had fairly good results with it.
