I strongly agree. I mounted the rack from my first buck, and it still sits as the predominant feature of my later harvests.
Double DITTO!!! I got my first archery deer last year and I had him mounted. I don't think that I will be as proud of any other deer as I am of that one.

i totally know how he feels, the first time i ever shot at a deer (shotgun and slug) i was out at the camp with my uncle, after i took the shot i somehow got down the ladder, i was sooo shook up, i fell a few times lol, then after i got to my apples and noticed the deer was standing there i was even more shook up lol, when my uncle got down there i ran up to him and was link "omg jerry, omg" needless to say i missed the deer, but it was awesome, alot of my friends are like, man whats the fun in deer hunting, its a deer, u see it, u shoot it, thats all there is to it, i once thought that to but the rush of shooting at a deer is amazing
