RE: Be Honest...
This year I left my release at home twice
and once I left the bow in the woods ![]() ![]() |
RE: Be Honest...
NOPE... never did it. I gotoutsidethe garage once and realized I left the bow in the house. That's about it. The only thing I ever forgot was a knife and I stuck a nice buck that day. Gutted him with an old Bear broadhead. I did get all the way to the woods one time last year with my blue undies on and my camo bottoms. I left the rest of my outfit in a bag in the garage. Len loaned me a shirt.

RE: Be Honest...
NEVER , IS THE FIRST THING I GRAP AND NEVER DROP IT!

RE: Be Honest...
I've never done that. But I have, on numerous occasions, climbed into my stand and realized that my release was back at the house. That kinda sucks too.

RE: Be Honest...
left my release, and flash light, and didn't go back for either.

RE: Be Honest...
I got you guys beat! I got to my new tree stand, climbed up hunted for 2 hours then realized I forgot my release in the car. NOW COMES THE STUPID PART. I climb down and leave allmy gear (except bow) to go back and get the release. I get a bit lost going back tomy new spot and have to search for my equipment for over an hour!

RE: Be Honest...
A couple years ago I brought my climber in and locked it up the day before my hunt. The next day when I get to my stand I realize I did'nt have the key! What a dummy! I had to drive the 30 mins home to get it. I still got in before first light. I keep it with my car keys now.:D

RE: Be Honest...
I forgot my release once, but never my bow!

RE: Be Honest...
Never forgot my bow, but one time this year I did forget to put my hunting clothes in the truck. Luckily I was only hunting 5 min from my house, so everything worked out.
