Default Favorite $350 to $500 bow...........

I know this is rather vague, but figure you guys and gals are a wonderful resource.Really was hoping this topic might shed some light on some of the companies owned by the big boys that might be making a damn good starter bow??

As my first year to purchase a bow, any idea on what might happen price-wise to the 2005s............

thanks in advance.

Parker Hunter Mag, great starter bow that will allow you to add up to 2 inches in draw length by changing out the cam module. I bought two of them for my boys.

If you want to get a top of the linebow from a company such as Hoyt, BowTech or Mathewsyour best bet would be to look for an 03' or 04' model. The 05's are going to definatley drop but will likely still hover around that 525-600 range for a bare bow.

Spend some time on Ebay. Two years ago I bought a Mathews from a guy that won it on at an auction and the draw length was wrong for him, it was never used. It was an MQ32 I think a 2001 bow for $320 and brand new was around $600. I love it and have seen some better deals on ebay. Give it a try. Good Luck
