One more question Dampland. How far off the trails do you put your scrapes?

I always put my mock scrapes right on a logging or 4 wheeler trail, or on a major deer trail. I also make the scrape as big as a trash can lid, or bigger.

I want the deer to notice it from far away, and come investigate.

WOW!

Those are awsome pic's ,I have been planning on putting a mock scrape down tomorrow morn ,I was gonna go without the drip ,but I think I'll pic one up tomorrow as well ,I'm also going to put my Stealth cam up with it .I'm not planning on hunting it till Monday ,but if I can get half the action your getting I'll be one very happy camper .What did you use for urine in the mock scrape and the drip ?

Well I got my mock scrape down this morning I filled the canister with Wildlife Research #307 all season buck lure ,so I'll leave it for the weekend and then I'll check my cam for some pic's and see how the scrape is doing as well. I had already been thinking of trying a mock scrape but your pic's finally got me to get out and try it .Thank's for the pic's I really appreciate them.I just hope i have half the luck you've had with it .

What kind of trail camera do you use. I want to buy one to replace my digital stealth cam (junk), and I would sure like to know what that one is.

This all begs the question - Where is Mr. Dampland during all this action? Could he be tucked away in the comfortable confines of his La-Z-Boy Recliner, or snuggled up next toMrs. Damplandin their luxurious Memory Foam mattress (engineered by NASA)?? Hmmmm....
