Not unless I want to be shooting some other brand bow for 2006......[:-]

Trust me if a picture leaks from anywhere before the big Nov 1 release they'll be beat to death with an unfinished Constitution riser....and I don't want to be that statistic.
Patience grashopper.
To give you a mental image.....they look really cool.

Zero Noise
Zero Shock
Zero Competition
Zero Pictures.
Seriously, the Tribute is going to be something special with regards to a new standard in shot feel. Pure vertical limb tip travel (minimal at that) from parallel at rest to beyond at full draw.......combined with that long riser and generous brace height making it feel like a longer ATA bow? [:-]
Do you guys understand what a 53 degree limb pocket angle looks like?
To give you some reference, the Allegiance is a 40 degree pocket angle! Andthe Allegiancegoes to a shade beyond parallel at full draw.
The 'Smooth' version of the Tributeis IMO going to set entirely new standards for soft overall shot feel and low recoil. We're talking mouse peeing on a cottonball quiet with IBO speeds rivaling the competition's 7" brace height models (AND THAT'S WITH A FULL STRING!).
And the fast one?.........if anyone says they have a mid to high 320's IBO speed hunting bow with a 7.5" brace height that is this smooth they're lying.
.........oh wait, there isn't another one on the market.
I'm just trying to imagine how smooth my Tribute will be at 60# with my 400+gr A/C/C's. [:-]

All this talk of these great new bows is upsetting me. I already feel like my 05 Allegiance is outdated and I haven't even killed anything with it yet.
Damn you for making me want to spend another 700 bills on a new bow!

Hey I'm giving anyone with a pencil and protractor the ability to draw their very own Tribute.
You have all the numbers........31.5, 7.5, 53.
Figure it out.

I'm no engineer but I have a hard time understanding how 53 degree limbs can make that much of a difference in noise over any of the other BowTech's which are already really quiet. Is there less limb travel compared to the 40 degree limbs?
Maybe once BowTech blows the lid off their announcements we can get one of the reps to explain the big advantage in the design.
I'm just tickled with the specs on the Tribute but it just doesn't seem possible their bows could get any quieter.

JeramyK,
I've shot a 2005 Mighty Mite and a 2005 Tomkat and I can't fathom anything any quieter than either bow. I shot both bows with my hearing aids in and turned to the highest amplification program. The only thing I heard was the thump of the arrow against the target as I shot both bows.
The Tomkat really impressed me as it is only $499 MSRP for the 2005 package deal. That is why I'm getting the 2006 Tomkat, it is a lot of quiet for the buck.

Is there less limb travel compared to the 40 degree limbs?
Less limb tip travel, combined with that minimal travel in a vertical plane (ActuallyI think the direction of limb tip travel is slightly backwards at the shot as the tips travel to rest from full draw), equates to even less recoil, less shock and vibration...........noise is vibration, vibration is noise.
Less vibration and shock equals less noise.

I suppose that makes sense.
Like I said it's just hard to think they could be any quieter. When you consider how much energy has to be stored/released to fling that arrow 320fps it just seems too good to be true. Guess we'll find out Nov. 1st.
