Default 19mph winds, how good or bad?

I think not very good but I've not much bowhunting experience so I'm asking for your input.

This sucks, I've been waiting all week for Saturday morning (my only free morning) and now there's gonna be 19-20mph winds. Heck, probably wind gusts to 25 or 30. At least the temps are in the 50's.

What's been your experiencein this type of weather? Might it not be such a productive day?

What type of hunting will you be doing? ground blind...tree stand? Depending on how much land you have to hunt and depending on if you are hunting crop fields with some standing corn in it.....still hunting corn fields(at least later in the morning) might be something for you to try.

Good Luck

try still hunting.....you can move slow and they cant herr you.i dont feel safe in a tree when its like that.plus i find the deer dont move as much(unless the rut is in full swing)good luck

Or.....if there is some really low area near you that is guarded from the wind a bunch, that might be a good place to setup instead.

Who cares if the wind is blowing 20 mph.I like it windy. As long as it is steady out of one direction. The deer will still move. Plus they won't hear your stand creek or your bow draw back. Go hunting!

After steady rain for 9 days, I'm looking forward to maybe a little sun on Sunday. They're predicting gusts up to 34 MPH. I'm planning on being out anyway. I'm SICK of this weather!!!
