RE: daughter and a six point
Thank you everyone for the comments, to answer some questions that came up, it was shot with a bow, we were sitting on the ground in a home made blind basically under a spruce tree not ina box or anything, she has been shooting for3 years now but did ask for a new bow for her birthday, and we whisper alot when we hunt together when we here noise in the woods it is automatic to be quite until we are sure it is o.k., I did get pictures but haven't had the film out to develop yet I will post them when they are done. Once again thank you all it was just a story I had to tell to people I know would relate....

I took my 11 year-old daughter out on opening day of gun last year. We sat on the ground, and she stayed still and quiet for the most part. She had on her cute, little, realtree camos.
It was great! We saw plenty of deer, and I did get a shot but missed. She said her heart was pounding when she saw deer and especially when I shot (shotgun.)
A buddy got a deer and we met back at camp and cooked up breakfast. She got her first taste of opening day deer-camp. It meant everything to me to have her there.
Congrats!!!
